Maternity
Schedule your photography session
to take place during your 7th to 8th month of pregnancy. This way you will have a big beautiful round belly BUT you will still be able to move freely with little discomfort. You will doing a lot of poses at your maternity photo shoot, some requiring you to lay down then stand back up. If you wait till 9 months you may be too uncomfortable and we do not want this to come through in the images. After all, we want a very happy and relaxed mommy-to-be!
Bring some props
I have some but by bringing your own props to the photo shoot you can incorporate into the images more of who you are and who your baby will be. Some great ideas include baby booties, animals or objects based on your nursery theme, stuffed animals from your own childhood, anything with the baby's name on it, sonogram pictures, and whatever else that means a lot to you and your growing family
Start planning your outfits
We want you to bring a wide variety of outfits and styles to your session. Dresses are always classic. Try to find one that is flowy yet elegant. A belt just under the bust helps to highlight your smallest point and adds beautiful curves to your figure. Are you comfortable with showing your bare belly? If so, a lace bandeau top is beautiful on its own or paired with a shear button down top. Remember to wear your maternity pants with the cloth waist band so we can fold it down and expose the entire belly. Opt for lighter clothing because it adds to the whole idea of new life, purity and the magical feeling of a new baby
Bring your loved ones along
Incorporating your spouse, older siblings, and anyone else who is important in yours and your baby's life is always an awesome idea. If you do plan on having anyone else in the images with you & plan your outfits together
